Make an impact on a social issue of your choice in our local community with Terps For Change!

Terps for Change volunteers engage in meaningful, longitudinal service at one of our 13 community partners in the DMV area. This semester we are offering socially-distanced in-person volunteer opportunities (Campus Pantry, MNCPPC, Campus Arboretum) as well as virtual asynchronous/synchronous sites. In addition to volunteering 1-3 hours a week, participants have 1-hour weekly virtual  dialogues to think critically and learn about the social issues they tackle at their site. Our diverse group of community partners allows our participants the opportunity to learn about a variety of social issues including educational inequity, food deserts, invasive species, and more. More information about our community partners can be found here: https://go.umd.edu/terps4change

Interested in joining us? The priority deadline is September 8th and the final deadline is September 17th! The application can be found here: https://go.umd.edu/t4c Please feel free to reach out to our staff at terpsforchange@umd.edu with any questions.
