We are running an online study that lasts approximately 1.5 hours and involves meeting with a researcher on Zoom, completing a few questionnaires, and audio-recording words to be used in an upcoming language study. Compensation for participating is an Amazon gift card. You will be paid $20/hour.
Eligibility requirements: at least 18 years old, normal hearing, no history of speech-language pathology, must have spoken your native language at home as your first language, must not have spent any significant time outside a country in which your native language is not a primary language before the age of 18, and must currently reside in the U.S.
You will have to download audio-recording software (Audacity) and a mobile device sound level meter app, as well as use an external microphone (such as the one on Apple headphones) connected to a computer.
