RESEARCH OPPORTUNITY FOR GENDER MINORITY YOUNG ADULTS

M Pease, from UMD’s Gender Culture and Health Lab, is recruiting participants for an IRB-approved study examining transgender mental health. Anyone ages 18-29 who identifies with a gender identity different from their sex assigned at birth is eligible to participate.

Participation involves completing a 20-minute confidential online survey comprised of questions covering experiences with the COVID-19 pandemic, discrimination, gender dysphoria, and general psychological distress, among other topics. Participants will receive either 0.5 SONA credits or an entry into a raffle for one of three $50 Amazon gift cards for their time.

To participate, either visit go.umd.edu/umdtranspsyc or find “Exploring Mental Health Risk Factors for Transgender Young Adults” on SONA. If you have any questions, please contact the researcher, M Pease, at their email: mpease1@terpmail.umd.edu. Thank you!
