Movement Exchange - Volunteer Opportunities for Students

My name is Adele Switzer, and I work with Movement Exchange, a non-profit and U.S. Embassy sponsored organization that strives to unite dance and service both locally and abroad by empowering the community through dance and creating sustainable dance education for underserved youth. Locally, our chapters teach at Boys and Girls Clubs or YMCAs to ensure kids have access to dance education. Internationally, we organize week-long international dance exchanges to Panama and Brazil where our members teach dance classes to children at orphanages and youth foundations, take classes in local dance forms, and explore the country and culture.

As a part of Movement Exchange, students will gain teaching experience, improve their leadership skills, and earn meaningful volunteer hours!

We're looking for students to attend an exchange and/or start a chapter at your university.

This opportunity is open to any students who are interested in community service, regardless of any prior dance experience!
