McGowan Institute For Regenerative Medicine Summer School and Internship Program

The McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine is pleased to announce its Sixth Annual Regenerative Medicine Summer School June 16-22, 2019.  The program is designed to provide a week-long didactic and hands-on learning experience addressing the science and engineering related to the multidisciplinary field of Regenerative Medicine.  The program targets undergraduates who will have completed their 3rd year of study. However, exceptional candidates who will have completed their 1st or 2nd year of undergraduate study will also be considered.

We are also pleased to announce that through the generosity of donors and sponsors, this year’s program is entirely free.  Additionally, this year, we will be offering 10 paid 8-week research internships in the laboratories of McGowan Institute Faculty.  Participation in the Summer School includes all accommodations, meals, coursework, laboratory experiences, social activities, and networking/career development events during the one-week program.  The stipend for the 8-week internship is $3,000.

Last year’s class featured twenty bright and eager students from across the country; we look forward to another positive experience this summer! We hope you will be able to join us! Apply today!

Applications should be submitted via the McGowan Institute Website (http://www.mirm.pitt.edu/professional-development/summer-school/).  Final admission decisions will be made by May 1, 2019 and accepted students will be notified by email.
