Pre-Medical Society Hosts Dr. Andre Pinesett (who is a great resource for graduate school advice) April 7

Pre-Medical Society will be having one of the best workshops ever. Our guest will be Dr. Andre Pinesett who is a great resource for graduate school advice. If students want to pursue graduate school, I believe this event is a must go. Dr. Pinesett is a graduate of Stanford Medical School. When in college was discouraged from going into medicine because he was an “average” student. This only gave him the drive to really search for how to be an extraordinary student. This took him from being that “average student” to being at the top. He now uses this to help students pursuing graduate school dominate the admissions process. He gives profound tips on how to do well in college and even after. He provides motivation to students with his expertise. The Pre-Medical Society really encourages anyone to attend this event. The workshop will have three sections which include:

Session 1- Establish the right goals: How to Figure out Which Healthcare Career is Right for You and How to Make It Happen
Session 2- Study Smarter: How to Study Less & Get Better Grades
Session 3- Sell Yourself: How to Write the Perfect Personal Statement
He will also cover: how to publish a scientific paper in 30 days, how to prepare for graduate schools' INTERVIEWS, etc.

Dr. Pinesett is currently a resident anesthesiologist at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Pinesett will be traveling from California to spend a day with us.This event is scheduled for April 7th, 2018 9am-4pm here at the university in Armory 0131.
