All data-driven UMD students (from any major or year) are invited to participate.

• Receive a data set from an organization
• Use your creativity and analytical prowess to solve an information problem
• Work with an industry mentor
• Compete for exciting prizes

This is a free event, including admission, swag, food, and beverages.

*Participants compete as teams up to 4 members. All participants must register individually by Nov 30. Starting Dec 1, attendees will have the opportunity to register for a team. Don’t have a team? Don't worry, there will be a team building session on February 16, 2018!Once maximum registration is reached, you will be put on a wait-list. Wait-listed students are not guaranteed participation.

Participants are expected to be present on campus only on February 24 and March 3, 2018.
