Info about summer research opportunity at the University of Maryland School of Medicine

There is an exciting summer research opportunity at the University of Maryland School of Medicine for sophomores and juniors in science, math, and engineering study fields. The program includes 10 weeks of biomedical research mentored by faculty at the School of Medicine and enrichment experiences throughout the summer. A stipend is included. The program is an excellent opportunity for those interested in biomedical research and interested in pursing MD, PhD, or MD-PhD degrees. Please RSVP here: https://form.jotform.com/73105148061952

There will be an information session Thursday November 30 in Edward St. John, room 1202 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. The session is open to all undergraduates interested in summer biomedical research opportunities at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (UM SOM) at the UMB campus located in Baltimore City. Those considering pursuing future Graduate, MD, PhD, MD-MS or MD-PhD, or other health profession degrees are highly encouraged to attend. Program Leaders from UM SOM, UMCP and MPowering the State will be in attendance. UM SOM Office of Student Research (OSR) Directors will lead the session.
