The University of Maryland chapter of the American Medical Women's Association will be having its first meeting on MONDAY, September 18th, 2017! The meeting will take place in JMZ 0125 at 7 pm, and we will be having an introductory GBM with all who are interested!
Our organization centers on women's health issues, a sense of community among pre-medical women, and advocacy for equality in health professions. We have several keynote speakers who will be joining us to give presentations about what it's like to be a female in the medical field, as well as charter advice and knowledge. We participate in service on and off campus, and will have several events to engage our members.
Please come out and join us - we will have pizza! :) We are also a gender-inclusive organization; anyone is welcome!
