Apply to mentor a ninth grade student!

Terps Mentoring is a one-on-one mentoring program that pairs high school students with University of Maryland students. The goal of Terps Mentoring is to foster mentoring relationships between these students in order to encourage the participating high school students to pursue college. For the 2015 - 2016 school year, Terps Mentoring has partnered with Eleanor Roosevelt High School located in Greenbelt, MD to work with a group of ninth graders at-risk for not passing the grade level. There will be two on-campus mentoring sessions per month beginning in early November, which will include tutoring, professional and personal development workshops, mentor-mentee activities, field trips, and community service. These sessions will take place on Friday afternoons from 3:30-6:30 pm.

If you're interested in applying, email terpsmentoring@gmail.com for an application and more information.
