The
Physics Department Office of Student and Education Services (OSES) will
be hosting a talk for undergraduates on "Medical Physics: The Science,
The Field and The Profession," presented by Ajay Kapur, the Director of
the Medical Physics program at Hofstra University. Dr. Kapur will
provide detailed information on the origins and evolution of medical
physics as a subfield of physics, and the core focus areas of radiation
therapy, diagnostic and nuclear medicine.
