Child Development Lab seeking upper-level students for Spring research on Mirror Neuron System

The Child Development Lab, under the direction of Dr. Nathan Fox, is currently seeking highly motivated and extremely dependable upper-level students for the Spring semester to help with our research on the development of the Mirror Neuron System. To do this, we collect EEG data from infants, preschoolers, and adults while producing simple motor acts, and while observing these actions performed by others. We are looking for students who are both detail-oriented and have great communication skills - must be comfortable interacting with young children and their parents. In addition, students will assist with data entry and detailed coding of behavioral data. Requirements: minimum 3.0 GPA, 9 hrs/week, 2 semester commitment. Prereq: PSYC 200. If interested, please send a resume, unofficial transcript, and Spring 2015 class schedule to MJ Heise at cdlactionstudy@umd.edu. PSYC 479 credits available. For more info about this project, visit: http://www.education.umd.edu/EDHD/faculty/Fox/mirrorneurons.php
