Art History Association Meetings

Are you interested in art? Do you want to go on trips to museums? Do you wish you new more about famous works of art? Want to meet others interested in art history?

The Undergraduate Art History Association (AHA), dating back several decades, has always organized a series of events each year, building the art history community on campus and providing opportunities for leadership and accomplishment.Events have included (but are not limited to) things like day trips to local museums, bus trips to New York city and Philadelphia museums, attending lectures, film nights, concerts, and other art related outings.  The Association has also played important roles in the organization of the annual Undergraduate Art History Symposium, and this year we were hoping that AHA members will also assist in the organization of a Careers in Art History event (both things to be scheduled for Spring 2014).
An organizational committee will be available to answer questions and sign up anyone interested in being involved.  There are three meeting times from which you can choose:

Tuesday         ASY     Room 3215       December 3      8-9pm
Wednesday       Tawes   Room 0205       December 4      8-9pm
Thursday        ASY     Room 3215       December 5      8-9pm

Anyone interested (even if you are not an Art History major or minor) is welcome to come to these events, which will also include a tasty snack!
If you have any questions, please contact Marcie Wiggins, mbwiggins24@gmail.com, or Dr. Colantuono, pyr@umd.edu
