"A Community of Gardeners" screening on Dec 12

 This Thursday, December 12, from 7-8:30 pm the UMD Public Health Garden will be showing the documentary, "A Community of Gardeners" in the Apiary.

The UMD Public Health Garden will become a community garden open to students and CP residents come springtime.  The documentary explores an outdoor classroom, an oasis of peace in an inner-city neighborhood, a link to an immigrant's homeland: the roles of seven Washington, D.C. community gardens are as varied as the gardeners themselves.
