General information about the Education Abroad Programs in Biology and Pre-medicine: Go to the search engine at: https://globalmaryland.umd.edu/offices/education-abroad/search-programs, type "Biology" in the Course Topics Offered box, and click the Search button.

Oxford Program:  ILS and the Honors College are collaborating with the Education Abroad Office to sponsor a new program at Oxford University starting next Fall 2019.  The program is still being designed, but it looks like current UMD sophomores and juniors majoring in the life sciences, especially biology and biochemistry, will have sufficient course backgrounds to take the advanced courses offered at Oxford.  Due to the competitive nature of Oxford admissions, it is strongly recommended that any applicant to this particular program should have a GPA of at least 3.90 at the time of application.
