Calling all Change Makers!

 The Maryland Multicultural Youth Center AmeriCorps program is looking for dedicated members to join their 2015-2016 team! AmeriCorps members serve one-year terms, assisting with in-school and after-school programs for middle school students It’s a great way to gain hands on experience while giving back to your community!

Members receive a living stipend bi-weekly as well as an education award at the end of their term. AmeriCorps members can serve in either full time or part time positions, and help make their communities stronger.

The AmeriCorps program with the Latin American Youth Center/Maryland Multicultural Youth Center is recruting for next year’s cohort of AmeriCorps members.  This is a perfect opportunity for any students or recent graduates, who might be interested in joining the 2016-2017 team!  The program places Americorps members in title-1 public schools to assist with in school and after school programs.  Members receive a living stipend as well as an education award at the end of their term.

We have both full time and part time slots available, and It’s a great way to earn money while giving back to their community and is often referred to as the domestic peace corps!
