Honors College Student Programming Council Recruiting New Members

The Honors College Student Programming Council (SPC) is an organization established for Honors students to come together and promote a sense of community across all different living-and-learning programs at Maryland. We are thrilled to begin our sixth year of fundraising, planning, and liaising to unite the Honors College and involve its students. In previous years, we have held events such as the Honors Olympics, Spring Grill & Chill, Pi Day, and most recently the Senior Gala.

We are looking to fill several positions on the board this semester, so if you are interested in becoming a member of SPC, particularly if you are a member of one of the newer Honors programs, contact our president Lexie Wille at awille@umd.edu for more information. If you like planning, leadership, and meeting people outside of your major or program, this is the place for you! We would love to hear your ideas and suggestions for the upcoming semester, so don’t hesitate to let us know what you’re thinking about. Additional information is also available on our Facebook page, link here:

We’re looking forward to another fantastic year, and we hope to hear from you!
