Have you ever considered studying abroad in London?

The Maryland-in-London program offers Honors seminars, H-Version courses and Departmental Honors courses in Art History, Anthropology, Economics, English Literature, Government and Politics, History, and Theatre. These classes are designed exclusively for the program and are taught by local adjunct faculty who are experts in their fields. All courses promote interactive and in-depth academic study of the artistic, literary, economic and political heritage of London, Britain and the world beyond.

The program encourages students to engage with local people and culture. In addition to Maryland courses, you may take one class with British students at the prestigious local partner institution, Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). QMUL is ranked in the top 10 of UK universities and it has over 150 courses in a variety of subjects on offer each semester. Alternatively, step beyond the classroom and add an exciting academic work placement (internship) to your registration. A wide range of placement areas are available for students to choose from, including various business sectors, not-for-profit, political, public sector and creative organizations.

Applications are now open for the spring of 2016 and are reviewed on a rolling admissions basis until the deadline on October 1st.
