YOGA for Honors College Students – Every Week this Fall!



IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT HONORS YOGA CLASS
Fall 2014

1. The class will meet every Tuesday, from 7:00-8:30PM in the La Plata Multipurpose Room (starting September 9th). Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to get yourself settled. The class will be limited to approximately 25 participants each week.

2. You will need your own yoga mat.

3. Bring water, a light blanket, and perhaps a small towel.

4. DO NOT eat within two hours before class. Yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach.

5. If you have long hair, please tie it up or back.

6. Remove any long dangling jewelry.

7. Gym clothes or a loose t-shirt or tank and shorts are appropriate attire. The main thing is to avoid clothing that restricts your movement.

8. Yoga is practiced with bare feet.

9. NO GUM.

10. The class is FREE.

Professor Dwyer is a philosopher who specializes in ethics. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher and a student of Indian Philosophy and Sanskrit.
