The Diamondback is currently seeking opinion columnists for Summer and Fall 2014. Columnists generally write every other week, and often focus on political, social or cultural issues, but each column must have a campus connection of some sort. Columnists do
not write about specific movies, music, or sporting events (we have
separate sections for those topics). Although international or national
news is worthy of covering, to do so our columnists must
always answer the question, “Why should students at this university
care?” If you can answer that question and there’s an angle you can
continually write from, we encourage you to apply!
