Medical school and life conversation: Thursday May 2, 12:30 (Please RSVP)

Lunch and Conversation with passionate Health Advocate and MD, Aaron Shapiro (residency in Primary Care Social Internal Medicine!)
   May 2, 12:30-1:30 p.m. in 2407 Marie Mount Hall
 
Aaron Shapiro graduated from UMD in 2011 with a major in Global Health (through Individual Studies, IVSP) and a minor in International Development and Conflict Management. He was also one of the original Global Health Corps Fellows--in Rwanda! He was a National Health Service Corps Scholar, with a focus on providing quality healthcare to underserved populations. He is about to start residency in Primary Care Social Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center.  Aaron is also the founder and executive director of Citizen Physicians, a non-partisan, non-issue-based start up organization dedicated to training the next generation of health care practitioners in effective civic engagement. Aaron is graduating with his MD from Brown University and received his MPH from Johns Hopkins.  He is happy to answer any questions--on anything, including how to succeed in medical school and have a great life!!  Feel free to bring friends (list on rsvp too)
