On Thursday, November 8, Creative Unrest, UMD's newest art advocacy group, will be hosting a Mental Health Open Mic and art creation event at the Maryland Co-Op from 5-7pm.Students will be sharing their poetry and spoken word, and creating mental health self-portraits which will be used to create a group mural at the end of the evening. It's an excellent opportunity for students to creatively express themselves about a major topic on UMD's campus, and hear and connect with other people's stories.
