The Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) cordially invites you to the 2018 Region III Conference held this year at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD.

Our theme for this year’s conference is “Medicine in Motion: Promoting Progress in APIA Communities." As future healthcare providers, we hold a special responsibility to care for the health of our patients and advocate for the communities in which they live. Through our conference, we hope to provide an integrative educational experience for students on diverse issues affecting minority communities and how we can use a medical perspective to acknowledge and address them. APAMSA is an inclusive organization, so we encourage anyone and everyone to attend, whether you are a medical, public health, pharmacy, dental or pre-health student, or if you just have an interest in health professions.

Our speakers include Dr. Tina Cheng, Director of Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and Dr. Shyamasundaran Kottilil, Associate Director of the Division of Clinical Care and Research at the Institute of Human Virology (IHV) at University of Maryland School of Medicine. We will have the University of Maryland School of Medicine Director of Admissions join us for a pre-medical student panel!
