The
University of Maryland Global Dental Brigades is a non-profit student
led organization. This upcoming January, we plan to travel to Honduras
to provide dental aid to rural underprivileged communities. As a
volunteer you will be assisting dentists with procedures such as
fillings, sealants,
cleanings, fluoride application and extractions. Also you will have the
opportunity to increase prevention of oral diseases by educating
children in the community. This is an opportunity of a lifetime and will
make you a unique pre-dental hopeful.
