provided). I would like to invite you, members of your staff,
student leaders, and students to attend this important afternoon
dedicated to hazing prevention.
This year’s Summit will
feature a prosocial behavior and bystander education program, Step-Up!
Bystander intervention techniques have been proven to be successful when confronting hazing in
student organizations. By participating in Step-Up! we
will gain valuable information regarding these issues, better recognize
concerning behavior, and be able to respond effectively.
