“Healthy Food and Lifestyle Choices for Children”

An Evening with Dr. Vicki Reese, Founder & CEO, 5 A DAY CSA
Monday, October 27, 7:00-9:00 pm
1102 South Campus Commons, Building 1

Fifty million people in the United States – one in four children – do not know where there next meal is coming from. How do we make healthy, nutritious choices to overcome the difficulties of poor and hungry people struggling with food insecurity and health issues such as obesity, hypertension and other diseases? 5 A DAY CSA based in Beltsville, MD works to stamp out hunger in our local community. We support the Moveable Feast program which provides food for the weekend for local middle school children in Montgomery County, Md. Join 5 A DAY CSA, learn and grow on your road to wellness and "Never Leave Home Hungry." Ultimately, a healthy diet and lifestyle choices are in the best interest of us all.
Vicki Reese, M.D. is Founder and CEO of 5 A DAY CSA in Beltsville, Maryland.
Dr. Reese is trained as a general and trauma surgeon.
