PBK new undergraduate scholarship program

The Phi Beta Kappa Society, the nation’s most prestigious academic honor society, has launched a new undergraduate scholarship program to connect promising arts and sciences students with opportunities in public service. The Society invites online applications for the Key into Public Service Scholarship, which will award $5,000 undergraduate scholarships and a trip to D.C. for up to 20 rising sophomore, junior, and senior liberal arts and sciences students interested in public service careers. Students with majors in the arts, humanities, mathematics, natural sciences, or social sciences are encouraged to apply. Please share information about the scholarship to students who you believe demonstrate commitment to academic excellence and interest in public service or service to others.
Characteristics of ideal recipients include intellectual curiosity, interdisciplinary breadth and depth of arts and sciences coursework, leadership propensity, and service to others.
Students can visit PBK.org/ServiceScholarsApp to learn more and apply. The application deadline is December 31, 2019.
